The limited edition version of Stern's Walking Dead pinball machine was the top tier model in the range released in 2014/15 and designed by John Borg. With mirrored backglass and custom brown finish to the cabinet legs and trim, it was limited to just 600 examples and contained a number of refinements over the cheaper models including RGB insert lamps and multi-colour general illumination.
Based closely on the eponymous tv series, it contains a deep, well balanced and highly creative ruleset from the late and much missed Lyman Sheats Jnr. The gameplay is challenging and contains a considerable number of modes including many multi-balls. There are plenty of playfield features to interact with including a prison with opening doors revealing a bash toy, a Well Walker bash toy, a lifting ramp with Bicycle Girl bash toy beneath and a cross bow feature that swings out and is operated by the lockdown bar button when active.
Several features are easily accessible to less experienced players, but the later stages of gameplay are very challenging to reach and cater for skilled players. In short the game provides a long lasting challenge for players of all levels.
It is in superb condition with a perfect cabinet. The playfield shows no wear and the ramps are perfect with virtually no ball track marks. The display has been upgraded to a Colordmd, which itself costs £500!
An absolute stunning pinball. It has everything. Fantastic theme, rare, exclusive, perfect condition, one owner. Brilliant pinball.
Have also added the very expensive original "Fish Tank" Topper. Really sets the pinball off well.
